Description
A tropical wave will continue to generate moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines this afternoon into tonight.
Thus, a Flash-Flood Watch is in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines from 4:00 p.m today, August 8th 2020 until 6:00 am Sunday 9th, 2020.
Residents and motorist in areas prone to flooding and landslides or near rivers and streams should exercise caution.
A Flood-Watch is issued when conditions are favorable and there exists the possibility of flooding during the watch period.
This flood watch may be upgraded to a warning if conditions warrant.

Una onda tropical continuará generando lluvias de moderadas a fuertes y tormentas eléctricas aisladas en San Vicente y las Granadinas desde esta tarde hasta esta noche. Por lo tanto, está vigente una alerta de inundaciones repentinas para San Vicente y las Granadinas desde las 4:00 pm de hoy 8 de agosto de 2020 hasta las 6:00 am del domingo 9 de 2020. Residentes y automovilistas en áreas propensas a inundaciones y deslizamientos de tierra o cerca de ríos y los arroyos deben tener precaución. Se emite una alerta de inundación cuando las condiciones son favorables y existe la posibilidad de inundaciones durante el período de vigilancia. Esta alerta de inundación se puede actualizar a una advertencia si las condiciones lo requieren.
